The Streetcar Company

2012 marks The Streetcar Company's 40th year!  To celebrate we will be having a very special spring production.

To kick off the celebrating The Streetcar Company is launching our own junior company, SKYT.  SKYT stands for Streetcar Kids and Youth Theatre.  The first prodcting SKYT will produce is Schoolhouse Rock!  The goal of SKYT will be to encourage kids and youth members of our company to get involved in more than just performing.  An adult company member will be paired with a youth company member for all of the production roles which are a part of creating a show.  We believe this will be a wonderful way to teach our youth the ins and outs of community theatre.  

The second half of our spring production will be a Musical Preview.  This will be a fun production of numbers from shows that Streetcar would like to present in our next 40 years!  We will present fun small group numbers as well as full cast numbers from shows such as Rent, Godspell and Wicked.
